Animated Population Projection Pyramids - Age/Sex, 1996 - 2041

Animated population pyramids for census divisions, economic regions and Alberta are available below. They are presented for both the estimated (1996-2016) and projected (2017-2041) periods under three different population growth assumptions: medium-, low- and high-growth. Medium growth represents the most likely case based on historical trends, and is the reference scenario over the projection period.
