TRACS - Instructional Videos

TRACS allows you to access and manage the most current account information between the hours of 7 a.m. and midnight Mountain Standard Time (outside of scheduled maintenance times), Monday to Saturday*, and receive important messages from Tax and Revenue Administration.
* Note: Technical support is not available beyond normal business hours.

The following videos provide information about how to set up a TRA Client Self-Service (TRACS) account, and register and file your International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) and tourism levy returns using TRACS.  They are available in Flash and mobile versions.  With the Flash version you can select topics by chapter and show or hide text.

 

Setting up TRA Client Self-Service (TRACS)

You will need your TRA Account Number and the PIN on the TRACS letter that was sent to you.

International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) – How to file returns online

Before you can file a return, you have to be registered for an Alberta Secure Access User ID and password and enrolled on TRACS using the previously supplied PIN.  This process is presented in the video “Setting up TRA Client Self-Service (TRACS)”.
